SSH Keys section¶
CROC Cloud supports authentication based on public SSH keys. Such authentication provides additional security and can be more handy than traditional password-based authentication.
Adding a key¶
Enter the key name and click to add new SSH key.
In the management console there are several methods to add SSH keys:
- Create key on server – password is automatically generated by CROC Cloud.
- Import key to server – using key created by user.
Select the adding method, enter SSH key name and click .
SSH key name can only contain Latin letters and numbers. Save the private part of the key on local PC. Select the created SSH key when launching the instance.
Deleting a key¶
Click to delete the selected SSH key.
Deleted SSH keys can’t be restored.
